  • What’s the location of the festival?
    You can find Techno For Humanity on the beautiful area of De Ster in balloon city Sint-Niklaas, Belgium. An idyllic clear lake including a beach and enough space for numerous exciting areas.
  • Is Techno For Humanity for young & old?
    You can only enter the festival if you are 18 years or older. Be sure to bring a valid ID.
  • What are the opening hours?
    The festival site opens on Sunday, April 15th at 11h until 23h.
  • Hardcups
    Good news! By using hardcups we're making the festival WAY cleaner & greener. The cups can be used over and over again, are stackable and recyclable.
  • Cashless
    No more coins! You can charge your wristband with tokens and pay your drinks & food simply by tapping your wristband at the bar/foodtrucks. For each drink you'll order, we'll count one coin as a deposit. If you bring the cup back, you simply get your coin back immediately on your wristband. Leaving the festival site with coins on your wristband? Don't worry, you'll receive a link for a refund shortly after the festival.
  • What about drugs and such?
    You are not allowed to bring or use drugs. Keep in mind that we have a zero tolerance policy about drugs.
  • Are there things I am not allowed to bring?
    For everybody's safety it is not allowed to be in possession of glass, spray cans (with propane), fireworks or umbrellas.
  • How about dealing with advertising?
    Flyers and/or posters pasting other events is not allowed. We're a sustainable festival and don't promote any kind of printed magazines, flyers, etc.
  • Can I bring my own booze?
    It is not allowed to bring your own booze.
  • Film or photo register
    During the festival different partners will make film or photo registers. By entering the festival you automatically give permission for registration and use of the media to Techno For Humanity.
  • Where can I buy my ticket
    Only buy your tickets on www.technoforhumanity.com.
  • I’ve lost my ticket, what can I do?
    Please contact us at info@technoforhumanity.com with your full name and order details.

  • Where is our money going to?
    All profits will be shared between qualified charity projects after the festival. All charities will be chosen by sponsors, partners and artists.
    How to get there
  • Coming from the UK
    1. Fly to Brussels Airport Zaventem (don’t fly to Charleroi as this is in the south of Belgium) and take a direct train from the airport to balloon city Sint-Niklaas. From balloon city Sint-Niklaas you’ll be taken to the festival site by bus.

    2. Take a car with you and your friends through the tunnel of Calais.

  • Coming from Belgium
    1. Take the train to balloon city Sint-Niklaas and take the bus to the festival site.
    Take bus 82 at Sint-Niklaas Station (platform 7) to bus stop "Ster". To check the timetable of bus 82: click here
    (You can also take bus 3 & 4 at platform 9)

    2. Come by car (carpool with your friends!). Address: Brokkelingenstraat 12, 9100 Sint-Niklaas. Parking €10 (only cash!).

    Back home
    After the festival, extra buses are driving to P+R Melsele/Zwijndrecht and Sint-Niklaas Station.
    They also stop on request at the bus stops along the route.
    Take bus 82 at bus stop "Ster", make sure you take the bus in the right direction.
    Traveling back to Sint-Niklaas Station: extra bus at 22:30 – 22:50 – 23:10 – 23:30 – 23:50.
    Traveling in direction of P+R Melsele: extra bus at 23:10 & 23:30.
    From P+R Melsele, you have a quick connection to Antwerp (city centre): take tram 3.

    1. Download our app and select 'Buy ticket'.
    2. Register and choose method of payment.

    From Sint-Niklaas station, you have a train to:
    - Lokeren at 23h27 (Belsele, Sinaai, Lokeren)
    - Kortrijk at 00h02 (Lokeren, Gent-Dampoort, Gent Sint-Pieters, De Pinte, Deinze, Waregem, Harelbeke & Kortrijk)
    - Antwerp Central station at 00h03 (Antwerpen-Zuid, Antwerpen-Berchem en Antwerpen-Centraal)
  • Coming from France
    1. Take the Thalys to Antwerp Central station (+- 2h!). Take a train from Antwerp Central startion to balloon city Sint-Niklaas and a bus to the festival site afterwards.

  • Coming from Germany
    1. Fly to Brussels Airport Zaventem (Don’t fly to Charleroi as this is in the south of Belgium) and take the train at the airport to balloon city Sint-Niklaas.

  • Coming from the Netherlands
    1. Take the train to Antwerp Central station and continue on the next train to balloon city Sint-Niklaas. Afterwards you can take our shuttle to the festival site.
